In this group we meet to listen to, discuss and enjoy music from all genres be it Rock and Pop, Jazz, Classical, Folk - or anything!

Each month we explore a musical topic suggested by members. This can be about a musical genre, a particular musician, a band or composer or any aspect of music. On the day, a presenter will talk about the topic and present the music in the form of YouTube videos.

There have also been musical quizzes and the occasional live performance by a member.

Recent topics have been:

Stevie Wonder, J. S. Bach, Folk Music, The Proms, Music for Dance, Country Music, The Guitar, Billie Holiday, The Piano, Great Musicals and Singer/Songwriters. 

At the next meeting on the 13th July the theme will be 'Great Tunes'.

All u3a members are welcome.

Meet at: Girl Guide House, Westoe Road on the 2nd Monday of each month at around 1.50pm for a cup of tea or coffee. We start at 2pm and run till around 3.15.
